 Dottie Cornelius - dottiec@orcasnet.com
Dottie joined Orcas Net in September of 2005. Before moving to Orcas Island, she lived in Alaska where earned a Bachelor degree in Business Management from the University of Alaska. During her years in Alaska she was employed as the manager of the Office of Admissions for a small college and then managed a jewelry retail store.
As Office Manager, she loves working with all of her co-workers and enjoys seeing a project from beginning to completion. She has found working in the fast paced, high tech environment of Orcas Net both challenging and rewarding.
In spare time, she enjoys crafts, reading, walking, and spending time with her husband and her four grandchildren.
Frieda Cron - friedac@orcasnet.com
Frieda's resume includes many years of legal secretarial and administrative assistant work and now is enjoying work in the fast-paced world of the
internet. Her prior experience and attention to detail has
helped prepare her for the work she does for Orcas Net. She enjoys the
ever changing range of work in the computer field and learning something
new everyday.
Frieda commutes to work on a small boat from a nonferry served island.
Her nontraditional way of living and commuting to other islands provides
her with many interesting experiences. Besides boating, she enjoys
walking, reading, music, and gardening.
Kate Tulloh - katet@orcasnet.com
Kate moved to Orcas from Eugene, Oregon in 2004. Prior to joining us, she had worked in technical support, retail management and administrative support. She's proved herself to be so thorough and quick that we've bestowed upon her the title of "Download Queen", a lifelong appointment! She thrives on organizing data and problem solving various issues.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time in her studio painting, doing wire jewelry, and playing the cello.
Jean Spalti - jeans@orcasnet.com
Jean graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. She came to Orcas Island in 1981 to work at Four Winds Camp. She has worked as the Children's Book Buyer at the local independent bookstore, as an Art Assistant for AZO Art, and as a yoga teacher. Here at Orcas Net she's on the front line, answering the phones and working on special projects. Since she's joined us, company birthdays and lunches have reached a whole new level. Our First International All-Terrain Croquet Match is just one of team building events she's organized.
When not paying attention to details, and polishing off projects in the office you either find her outside - skate boarding, trail running, cycling, or if the weather is really bad, inside - reading, spinning, dyeing and knitting.
Anita Ihlenfeldt - anita@orcasnet.com
A 2005 graduate of the Orcas Island High School, Anita came to us as a summer assistant and within a few weeks we realized we didn't want to let her go! Her computer skills, organizational ability, eagle eye, and ability to learn new things in a heartbeat won us over. Now attending college in Santa Barbara she is working for us remotely on special projects.
Volleyball and snowboarding are activities Anita makes sure to fit into her schedule.
